A study published by TechNet shows that since 2007 more than 460,000 new jobs have been created in what they are calling the “App Ecosystem”. While the numbers quoted are estimates based on analysis of keywords in help wanted ads along with various factors to take into consideration other jobs that support app development, even a more conservative version would be considered nothing less than a raging success for a government program.
Is this an indication that the much needed boost in available jobs is best delivered through innovative private companies? Or is this just a movement of software developers from more traditional IT environments to the “App Ecosystem”. Are you part of the “App Ecosystem”? Drop us a comment and let us know.
