Hello Pluralsight Team, Authors, Friends and Family!

This is the announcement that I have been waiting to share with you for a few weeks now.

This adventure that takes myself Krystyl Baldwin, and @MochaTheDog from San Francisco, California all the way to Salt Lake City, Utah.

In the last couple of years I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work The Recording Academy (aka The Grammys), organize several events and conferences (TwestivalSF, Social Media Week SF, Social Media Prom), work with new media personalities, celebrities, and create a networking group and events management company called EventsForNerds.  I even started a food truck in 2012 that sold before I even had a chance to open its doors!

Coming from a background in social media marketing, and events for startups in the heart of the Silicon Valley bubble, I wanted to branch into something new and exciting.  I wanted to learn something new.  I wanted to be with a company that understands business.  And I wanted to be with a company that I could grow with.

My draw to Pluralsight came when co-founder Aaron Skonnard approached me approximately 8 months ago while visiting San Francisco.  We had coffee, charged our iPhones, and chatted about the future vision of Pluralsight.

At the time, I was looking to learn more about being a developer, and to find out how I could be a part of a company full of smart talented individuals.  Aaron allowed me to take a sneak peek into what was going on, and I knew right then that this is where I wanted to be!

I couldn’t be any more excited than I am today to share with you that I have officially joined Pluralsight as the company’s new Marketing coordinator.  I will be bringing fun and exciting content to the Pluralsight blog, and traveling to a city near you for some of today’s hottest conferences, where you will not only get to meet me, but my new Pluralsight family.
