Microsoft is poised to announce its next iteration of Windows 8, not-so-secretly code named “Blue”. While the upcoming release has sprung more leaks than a Carnival Cruise ship toilet, these are some otherwise overlooked features sure to make this release a winner with consumers and critics alike.
Boot to Chrome
Facing almost no actual pressure from Google’s Chromebooks, Microsoft is not only adding Boot to Desktop. Now those that truly want to hobble their productivity can get the Chromebook experience by booting directly to the Chrome browser. This feature not only limits interactivity to web based applications, but will also slow the processor, reduce available disk space, and turn any device into a barely functioning paperweight.

Stay tuned, as we unravel some more exclusive footage from the weekend…it’s always a good time!
