Pluralsight Author Summit 2014: Call for speakersBy Chad Utley
The second-ever Pluralsight Author Summit is right around the corner! If you’re a Pluralsight author and you haven’t already RSVPed, what are you waiting for? Attendance is limited, so act now. You should also consider getting involved by speaking at the event.
Pluralsight Author Talks
Open for proposals through January 15.
Your feedback regarding the last Author Summit was heard. You want more sessions hosted by your fellow authors. For the 2014 Summit, we’re seeking authors who are interested in presenting. Our goal is to inspire, motivate and educate everyone who attends. If you have something to share that will help us achieve one or all of these goals, send us a proposal.
Once we receive all the proposals, the author network will vote on the topics and speakers of greatest interest.
The sessions will take March 1-2 (Saturday and Sunday). We plan to host 100+ attendees. There will not be multiple breakout sessions, so we’ll only have time to hear from 4-5 authors during the Summit.
In order to get your topic on the list, we need to receive a descriptive title and a brief description of your talk. All proposals must be submitted by January 15. Please email all proposals to email@example.com or complete the form at the bottom of this page.
We’ll also be presenting 15-20 lightning talks. These will take place Saturday and Sunday and will run five minutes in length. They should be something technical (no marketing please).
To get on the list for a lightning talk, please submit a brief description of what you would like to share to firstname.lastname@example.org by January 15.
Lightning talks may also be put out to the author network for a vote depending on the level of interest.
We look forward to seeing your submissions!
We are also looking for a few authors to participate in a Camtasia panel. If you are interested in participating please let us know.
